for starters, nope, i was not supposed to ride a ship, nor have taken time off for vacation (hopefully next month *crossing my fingers and toes*). it’s just that after 4 years of graduating from college, i think my life is nowhere to go. most of my friends are getting married, or are already HAPPILY married. some have babies.

my UST Law School classmates already graduated and will be taking the Bar Exams this september. my eTelecare wavemate is gonna get married this june. my highschool bestfriend will be changing her marital status from “S” to “M”. and where i am? stuck at work, with completely NO LIFE. spending my weekends watching dvds and eating in my room. what i mean by eating is eating breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, lunch… in my room. watching dvds.

i don’t wanna be ungrateful, i mean geez, i am not taking in calls (fulltime) at work at that means big time if you’re working in a callcenter. next week i will be having my toic assessment and if i pass, i’ll be a toic then a team leader, which means a lot since i haven’t been with the company for such a long time. i am independent from my family and i can drink beer and go home any time that i want. i have a boyfriend for 2 years and 4 months.

but come to think of it, is this really what i want? i am happy at work, but 98% of my friends are my officemates. i really want to go back to law school. pass the bar exams. i want to have a work. when i get home from work i want somebody who would ask how was my day or did i already eat. i want to have a boyfriend who will hold hands with me when we go out or would be willing to post our pic on his Friendster account.

am i asking too much?

i was able to watch the terminal last weekend and damn, weird as it sounds, this movie made me cry. i like what catherine zeta-jones said: “Ii always see men the way i want to see them”. very applicable to me….

another movie is the notebook. and it did made me cry too!

of course there i go again, thinking that he can never fully love me…

oh well… i’ll just savor each moment that we are together!

on stupidity and a lot of things…

i was trying to log on to my blog when i forgot my username and password that i created just a week ago…. or not even a week! stupid… stupid… stupid… but brilliant me, i was able to get in again! hehehe…

my weekend was so much fun. i had a post-valentine’s date with rommel and i could say that it was one of the best days that we had together, one of the happiest days too. so, he picked me up at eastwood at around 2pm, he brought our ride. it was actually the first time that he was able to drive for me. we went home and he made me sleep for about an hour.

at 4 i was trying to wake him up, he can’t get up, he said we’re just gonna go to mall of asia on sunday. i moved a bit from the bed and he asked me if i am mad. i was thinking…. POINK! *with lightbulb on my head* this is my opportunity to pull up the dramatic des! he told me it’s ok if we’re gonna go that day or on sunday and he wouldn’t be mad at me. so we finally decided that we’re gonna go that day.

and there was a major traffic jam at C5, but we didn’t mind at all. we were just happy that we are together and that we are going out on a date. Ü when we are already at makati, another first happened! we were caught doing a u-turn, we just paid 500 pesos and then drove away… hehehe…

we finally got to MOA and parking is such a pain in the ass! so we just strolled ate dinner at this fancy chinese resto: Hai Bar and Restaurant and then watched movie~ Ghost Rider. since i wasn’t able to sleep and i was so dead tired, i was able to sleep on the 1st 20 minutes of the movie! can you believe that! almost at the end of the movie, he held my hands… aawww… *sigh* that’s the sweetest since we really don’t do PDA.

we were able to get home at 12 midnight and we really enjoyed that date. we didn’t have any fight or argument. same thing on sunday we were able to spend time just at home and then went to gale to hear a mass and…. he already bought an ipod for me! Ü

i’m so happy, i hope this happiness with him will last forever!

geez… i am not a complainer, but god, our jobs are killing us. maybe because i really sometimes to choose to stay late at work and do a 12-hour shift because of the bazillions of reports that i need to do. but i need to. i need money to pay my bills and buy the things that i want. but come to think of it, sometimes i feel like i’ve got the best job in the world. well. not in the world. maybe in the philippines. or manila. or qc. hehehe. i’ve been with etel for 1 yr and ummm… 4 months and i’m already a tier 2 or a subject matter expert that some people would need to work for 2 yrs to get. i was a trainer on my tenth month with the company. sheepsh. but you can’t imagine the workload .
